Who We Are & What We Do!
Our goal is to get children to love to learn as much as our staff does!
Reading Escapades and Math Explorers accomplishes this through customized games and unique teaching strategies that are developed individually for your child.
Do you feel that your children’s education is important to their success in life?
If the answer is YES, then our educational coaches can help your children reach their maximum potential while they are having fun and being nurtured.
This is a service that you won’t find at big-name learning centers.
Your child is not just a number to us!
We offer a variety of reading and math clubs, book discussions, and private tutoring for most subjects. We also offer day camps to help your child feed his or her curiosity, foster a love of learning, and succeed in life.

Why are we valuable to your child?
- All educational needs are supported which saves you time, money, and stress.
- 1:1 instruction. Provide students with individualized attention and support tailored to their specific needs. They can work at their own pace, ask questions and get feedback and guidance that they need.
- Help not only understand material, but also build their confidence.

Christine Allen
Owner/Youth Success Coach
While I love learning new things, I really enjoy showing students how exciting it is to gain knowledge themselves. Seeing the light in a child’s eyes when they finally understand something is really rewarding. I enjoy a variety of subjects for different reasons. I love reading and analyzing because there is no right answer. On the other hand, I love math and science because there always is a right answer. When not helping students, I enjoy reading, skiing, hiking, and swimming.

Miss Joann
Office Manager
I am so blessed to be able to help Christine and the rest of the coaches get their students to be the best they can be. I have been working in the education field for twenty-five years and love to see the students grow and develop. When not at Reading Escapades & Math Explorers, I’m taking care of my two teenage children.

Miss Stacia
Marketing Manager
I fell in love with learning in school and ultimately teaching others about my interests at a young age. My love for education has led me to ascertain a teaching certificate in agriculture and general science to share my love of farming, animals, and PA wildlife with others. I am a proud mother of three young boys and my greatest joy is helping them explore and learn about the world around them. I get the same fulfillment working with a student as they conquer a project, assignment, or a problem and gain further understanding in their education journey. In my free time I am usually outside exploring on the farm with my husband, two sons, and our dog Dodger!

Miss Megan
Educational Coach/Palmerton Manager
I am currently an instructional assistant at a private school focusing on behavioral health. My favorite subject is English. I love checking spelling, grammar and formats. “Until I feared that I would lose it, I never loved to read.”- Harper Lee. In my free time away from working I enjoy taking walks in nature, playing with my dog, and visiting with family. I love animals, I have a dog named Groot, a cat named Pretty, and 3 hamsters Sweetpea, Violet, and Ginger.

Miss Sarah
Education Coach/Weiser Site Supervisor
I have always known that I wanted to work with children. I went to college for 2 years for education. My entire adulthood I have been working with children in some form; teacher, tutor, baby sitter. My favorite part of working with a student is when a subject finally clicks. The excitement on their face is awesome! I currently run my own preschool here in Idaho and home school my own children, and I am so excited to be back to help students love learning! When not with students I love to go hiking, camping and exploring our country with my husband, black lab and 3 kids. I also love reading, baking/cooking, crafting, and gardening.

Miss Katerina
Virtual Educational Coach
I am currently a student in LCCC's Honors Scholars program, and my favorite hobbies are reading, listening to videos and podcasts about subjects like media and literature, and baking. I always loved classes like English and Math growing up, but I truly loathed history… until I figured out history is really cool by finding out about the great molasses flood. Now, my favorite band is one that sings exclusively about the history of war, historical events, and notable soldiers. I truly think that all topics and subjects can be made interesting and fun to learn about. I work with most any subject, primarily with elementary and middle school students, and I hope to make sure my students know even boring, troublesome, or difficult subjects (like history) can be a blast to delve into!

Miss Jessica
Educational Coach/Events
I have always loved learning and working with children. I especially love science and math as well as writing. I love teaching and experiencing life through the eyes of my kids and the kids I have babysat and worked with in the past. When they learn something new, especially if it is challenging, the way their eyes light up and the joy radiating from them is magical. I am very easy to work with and I always try to find a way to adapt to how my young charges learn. I find that if you make the topic interesting and hands-on, especially if you can find a way to link it to something they find interesting or enjoy doing, it makes a world of difference. In my free time I love reading, writing, and exploring nature with my husband and 2 children.
